PRESENTATION OF THE OPHTHALMOLOGY DEPARTMENT
Location
Ophthalmology consultations take place on the ground floor, corridor A (couloir 1) of Jean-Bernard, in the Milétrie site.
Bring along all recent documents related to your ocular illness (angiographies, visual fields, scanner, MRI, prescriptions, doctor’s letters).
The hospitalization department is located on the 9th floor, corridor D, Jean-Bernard.
Capacities
Surgical interventions in ophthalmology can be proposed at the hospital (10 beds on the 9th floor) or on an outpatient basis.
Activities
Each year on the average, the ophthalmology department carries out:
- more than 1200 traditional stays,
- around 30000 consultations,
- more than 3000 surgical interventions (mainly cataract, retinal pathologies, glaucoma, corneal pathologies and pediatric pathology).
